4 Do I need to go for a Medical Examination when I apply for life insurance?
Not in every case. Occasionally insurance companies will ask you to go for a medical examination, generally based on your age, medical history, smoking status and current health.
5 Why is my wife’s premium lower than mine?
It is true that in most cases women pay less than a man and this is purely based on the statistic that women live longer than men. The possibility of paying a death claim for women is less than men. This is why women pay lower premiums.

7 I already have a life cover under a group policy that my work provides for employees. Isn’t that sufficient?
Not always. This is where you want us to prepare a list of your income, expenses and debts and advise you if the cover you have in place is sufficient. Many employer group policies end when you leave the company and then you would need to organise new cover. The danger is if you have already developed a medical condition in this period, you may not get new cover on standard terms from a new insurance provider. Consult us and we will advise you.

9 How can I reduce my premium?
You can reduce your premium by choosing a higher excess.
You can choose to pay annually and you get 5% discounts on premium.

10 How do I make a claim?
To make claim you need to request a claim form which would need to be completed by the policy owners for pre approval before treatment. Call us and we will assist you with the claims process.
